Momo Fuchi Wrist Pincushion

I received this wrist pincushion last year for Christmas. It is made by Momo Fuchi. It is so adorable but incredibly useful! It is also very well made, with quality fabric. There is also a Momo Fuchi ribbon sewn on the side. I just thought I should post this because it's such an adorable yet useful object.

Keep Your Hands Warm! Handmade Cotton Knit White Handwarmers Instructions

More hand warmers! These will be given as a gift to someone this Christmas. Like my fake cardboard hand?

These are super easy to make, just like my brown alpaca knit hand warmers. They are made with white cotton yarn.

Instructions for making these hand warmers:

1. Make 7 rows of alternating knit and purl.
2. Make 27 rows of alternating 3 purl and 1 knit.
3. Make 7 rows of alternating knit and purl.
4. You should have a knit rectangle. Turn inside out and use a crochet hook to connect the sides of the rectangle, leaving a hole for a thumb.

It's that easy! This project should take just a few hours, for a fast, last minute, handmade Christmas present.

Gift Packaging Ideas

This is a sample of my holiday gift packaging for my Etsy store. I use a bracelet sized kraft box, cut out holiday scrapbooking paper into strips, and paste it to the top of the box.

My Bloody Shirt

I made this shirt during the summer. It is entirely sewn by hand, no sewing machine touched this shirt! I actually designed another shirt, made that one, and used the leftover scraps to make this one. I actually like this one better though. The back hangs lower than the front, and it's kind of loose all over, but also is short, a sort of cut-off shirt.

I love the fabric though, it looks like I murdered someone!

Can I be a Hand Model? Please?

Ever since my mom stopped cutting my nails, I just let them grow long, out of laziness. Below I painted my nails with a salmon colored polish from Ulta topped with my favorite glittery topcoat, In The Spotlight by Sally Hansen.

Below, I used a pink Salley Hansen nail polish as a base, then made the dots with the Ulta salmon nail polish, and finally added the lime nail appliques with a clear coat nail polish.
